Light snowfall will spread across parts of the Northeast into early Monday as a low-pressure system tracks off the East Coast.
The bulk of the snowfall from this system is expected through Sunday night and into early Monday morning.
Snowfall totals are generally forecast to be 1 to 3 inches from northern Pennsylvania to parts of New England, mainly north and west of the Interstate 95 corridor. Locally up to 5 inches of snow could pile up from the Poconos of northeast Pennsylvania to the Catskills of southeast New York.
In New York City, little to no snow accumulations are anticipated, but a few inches might pile up not too far north in the Hudson Valley.
Boston will see a mix of snow and rain into Monday. Areas just west of Boston could see a couple of inches of snowfall into early Monday.
