Miami was pounded by another round of heavy rainfall Tuesday evening, which resulted in severe street flooding in some parts of the city.
One of the hardest-hit areas was in North Miami, where vehicles attempted to navigate roads that were covered in feet of water. Social media posts showed flooding along Biscayne Boulevard near NE 123rd Street.

Miami International Airport received 5.5 inches of rain in a 90-minute span, according to meteorologist Eric Blake. The airport has received at least 7.07 inches of rain Wednesday and at least 18.55 inches of rain in May, just shy of the May record of 18.66 inches.
More than 13,000 homes and businesses were without power in Miami-Dade County Tuesday evening, according to PowerOutage.us. It wasn't immediately known if the flooded inundated any structures.
