Downpours and thunderstorms will once again bring the risk for flooding to parts of northern India into Thursday.
The latest in the storms to track in from the Middle East to India brought showers and thunderstorms to northern India, including parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday.
Rain also fell in parts of Pakistan, following deadly flooding which occurred last week.
The wet weather will now push eastward from the NCR to Lucknow, Patna, Kolkata and Guwahati for the final two days of February as drier air gradually works in from the northwest.
A shower or thunderstorm can still dampen the NCR on Wednesday before drier weather returns for Thursday.
Some of the thunderstorms can produce hail and strong winds, potentially leading to scenes that unfolded in the NCR earlier this month.
Regardless of any hail or flash flooding, there can be travel disruptions throughout northern India into the day on Thursday.
Residents are also reminded to seek shelter as soon as thunder is heard to avoid being struck by lightning.

Forecasts point toward the flooding threat being greatest in the foothills of the mountains of northern India and Nepal and across eastern and northeastern India, as well as neighboring parts of Bangladesh on Wednesday and Thursday.
Mudslides can be triggered in the foothills, below where heavy snow falls in the mountains.
The heavy snow in the mountains can raise the risk of avalanches in the region.
Yet another storm may strike northern India this weekend, bringing a renewed threat for showers and thunderstorms.
Areas at greatest risk for showers and thunderstorms will be from the NCR northward and westward. Snow may again fall in the higher terrain of Jammu and Kashmir.
