Nineteen people huddled in a garage in Maryland during a severe storm were injured when a tree collapsed on the building Sunday.
Six of the victims were still trapped in the garage when Anne Arundel County rescue crews arrived after being called at about 5:20 p.m., WBAL-TV reported.
The victims told officials they were celebrating a child's birthday when the storm came through the Lake Shore neighborhood, about 14 miles southeast of Baltimore. They sought shelter in the detached garage between two houses.

One person was critically injured and five others were in serious condition, but none of their conditions were life-threatening, Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Russ Davies said, according to the Associated Press. It took 45 minutes to free all of the victims.
Among the 17 adults and two children in the garage at the time, the rest had minor injuries, he added.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 4:24 p.m. Sunday that included Lake Shore.
The storm toppled trees and knocked out electricity in the area, the AP reported.
