Weather movie madness: Vote to determine the best of these 16 weather-related movies

In the spirit of March Madness and the NCAA Tournament, AccuWeather's editorial team decided to create its own tournament of sorts, focused on 16 movies about the weather or films with strong weather themes over the past 30 years.
The NCAA Tournament, one of the biggest sporting events of the year, has reached its "Sweet 16" stage as only 16 men's Division I college basketball teams remain to compete for the national championship.
Voting in AccuWeather's own Sweet 16 gets underway on Thursday. Below are eight matchups consisting of movies ranked No. 1 through No. 16. It's a broad and diverse group featuring popular animated winter tales such as "Frozen'"and "Ice Age," apocalyptic thrillers such as "Geostorm" and "The Day After Tomorrow" and movies based on real-life storms such as "The Perfect Storm" and "The Finest Hours."
To vote, click on the name of the movie under the movie trailer. The results will be posted on Monday morning.
The second round of voting will take place on Tuesday, April 2. The vote on the remaining final four movies will take place on the same weekend of the NCAA Tournament's Final Four on April 6. For a refresher on each film, click through below and watch the trailer.
