Surveillance footage captured a Turkish man flying through the air on the base of a patio umbrella after trying to hold it down during severe winds.
A storm moved through southern Turkey early this week bringing strong wind gusts with it. The video is from Turkey’s Osmaniye province, the Daily Sabah, a Turkish news outlet, reported.
"There were strong winds on the backside of strengthening surface low pressure that tracked over northeastern Syria and northern Iraq Sunday night and Monday," AccuWeather Meteorologist Dave Houk said.
In the viral video, Sadık Kocadallı along with other bystanders struggle to secure a large umbrella during heavy gusts. Kocadallı steps on the umbrella's base in an effort to keep it in place. Instead, a heavy wind gust lifts him and the umbrella off the ground.

Kocadallı told reporters that he survived the incident without any injuries, the Daily Sabah reported.
"I'm fine actually. After I realized the umbrella was going to keep going up, I jumped off. I think I rose 3 or 4 meters," Kocadallı said to reporters.
