Despite plenty of cloud overhead, Friday will feature a continuation of the mild spell across most of the United Kingdom.
Temperatures across South East England will climb to 14-17 C (58-62 F) on Friday, boosting the warmest weather across the British Isles. This includes in London, which can record its highest temperature so far this month to close out the week.
Highs elsewhere across England will range from 10-16 C (50s F) on Friday with highs within a degree or two of 10 C (50 F) in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Bright sunshine, however, will not complement the persistent mild spell.
Rainfall will dampen areas from Northern Ireland into Scotland on Friday, but no flooding problems are expected.
The morning can be the wettest time of the day in Belfast. In the Scottish Highlands, morning rain can give way to wintry showers in the afternoon.
Rain can also increase during the day across Wales and North West England with an odd shower or two reaching southwestern and northeastern England.

Dry weather will hold throughout Friday in Cambridge, Oxford, London, Bristol and Exeter. Residents looking to get outside and enjoy bright sunshine amid the mild conditions will be disappointed. Plenty of cloud will cover the sky.
Temperatures are expected to tumble back down to more seasonable levels this weekend.
Showery spells can persist across Northern Ireland and Scotland both days of the weekend.
Farther south, Sunday will be the better half of the weekend for outdoor plans in southern Wales and southern England as showers will make brollies a necessity on Saturday.
