For college football fans across the country, all the waiting and anticipation comes to an end this weekend as many ranked teams begin their seasons.
Most games featuring teams in the Top 25 should not have many weather disruptions. However, fans and players will need to contend with stifling heat in many locations.
Here is a look at several of the notable games that feature ranked teams and are being played outdoors this weekend. For the afternoon games, there are several locations that could endure AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
That means fans planning to spend a lot of time outdoors before and after the game should be sure to drink plenty of water and take other precautions such as applying sunscreen and wearing a hat and sunglasses.
