Slow-moving Bebinca will continue to bring a high risk for flooding and mudslides to southeastern Asia into Saturday.
Bebinca made landfall on Friday morning and has weakened to a tropical rainstorm; however, lives and property will remain at risk as heavy rain persists along the storm's track.
Widespread rainfall of 100-200 mm (4-8 inches) is expected to spread from northern Laos to northern Thailand and neighboring Myanmar into Saturday.
Localized downpours will persist over northern Vietnam and will spread into central Myanmar.
Mudslides will further threaten lives and property. Streams and rivers can rise out of their banks and flood communities, land and roads.

Flooded or damaged roads and bridges can cut off remote locations.
Among the areas facing the flooding rain is the Chiang Rai Province of Thailand, site of the miraculous cave rescue in July.
The mountainous terrain of southeastern Asia is expected to further shred apart Bebinca this weekend. However, a piece of the storm may survive and contribute to enhanced downpours over the rest of Myanmar and into India later in the weekend and early next week.
