Photos: Lee Pounds Coast From New England To Atlantic Canada

W​hat was once Hurricane Lee barreled up the coast of New England and into Atlantic Canada Saturday, churning up high surf and knocking out power to hundreds of thousands of people in its path.

Heavy wind and rain battered parts of New England and Atlantic Canada throughout the day.

T​he storm also delayed or canceled hundreds of flights at northeast airports including Boston Logan International.

A​head of Lee, lobster traps were pulled and boats secured. State ferry service was suspended in Maine and states of emergency were declared there as well as in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
