The 2021 summer season that has just ended proved to be characterized by a very active weather pattern due to a very active hurricane season for the Atlantic region with the remnants of both Hurricane Henri that hit mid-August and Hurricane Ida that hit 2 weeks later August 30-September 1, 2021 providing a good chunk of the rainfall totals for the past couple of months in particular for certain Northeastern US cities.
