-Arthur Monday Center on 1111 Newton Street in Algiers from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday (food, tarps and water)

Cooling Centers

St. Bernard Parish will open a cooling center on Wednesday at the Val Riess Multipurpose building, located at 1101 Magistrate Street in Chalmette. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily until further notice. Pets are welcome as long as they stay in an animal carrier, and proof of residency and protective face coverings are required.
