Hurricane Zeta Makes Landfall in Louisiana

Hurricane Zeta made landfall in southeastern Louisiana late Wednesday afternoon as a Category 2 storm.

Zeta's landfall was near Cocodrie, Louisiana, at 4 p.m. CDT and maximum sustained winds were 110 mph.

Zeta will weaken quickly as it races inland but will bring strong, damaging winds and heavy rainfall across parts of the South and East into late-week.
