While cloud and rain linger across the east of Britain on Sunday, dry weather and sunny spells will spread across western areas.
Rain across eastern Scotland and England will make for a chilly and damp day with temperatures rising to within a few degrees of 15 C (near 60 F). These temperature highs are within a few degrees of normal.

AccuWeather meteorologists expect the majority of the wet weather to remain along the east coast from Aberdeen to Norwich. London is expected to be on the western fringe of any rain. As a result, the day will be chiefly dry with a few brighter periods possible.
However, areas further to the west of London, from the southwest of England into Wales and western Scotland will enjoy the best of the sunshine and dry weather.

Plymouth, Bristol and Liverpool are among communities that will have a sunny day. While temperatures will be within a few degrees of normal, sunshine and the lack of wind will help it to feel milder than in areas farther east.
The beginning of the week will begin on a dry note as high pressure settles across the British Isles. There can be cloudy periods in South-East England, but a bright sky and light wind will make for a nice day for many.
